This 10 Hour OSHA Outreach training is designed to promote workplace safety and health and to make workers more knowledgeable about workplace hazards and their rights. Emphasis is placed on the role of the construction worker in hazard recognition and avoidance, workers’ rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint.

This training course uses power point presentations, videos, hands on and direct contact with experienced instructors to provide a basic overview of Construction Safety.
Upon completion of this course students will be able to:
Recognize worker’s rights and employer responsibilities under OSHA regulations
Identify the most common hazards when using stairways and ladders on construction sites
Identify and describe the methods of control for the main health hazards that construction workers are exposed to
Identify appropriate personal protective and lifesaving equipment
Explain the risks associated with improper scaffolding equipment

30hr OSHA Certification
This 30Hr course takes an in depth look at the most hazardous aspects of the construction industry, the safety regulations that mandate them, and the responsibilities of all those involved.
This program includes OSHA policies, procedures, and standards, as well as construction safety and health principles. The training will place emphasis on those areas that are most hazardous, using OSHA standards as a guide. This program is more applicable for the construction supervisor, with a more intensified focus on various occupational safety and health standards. Course participants can expect to be able to locate and identify OSHA standards in 29 CFR 1926; identify common causes of accidents and fatalities in hazardous areas of construction; recommend abatement techniques for such hazards; and recognize various construction processes, materials and equipment.
Upon completion of this course students will be able to:
Recognize worker’s rights and employer responsibilities under OSHA regulations
Identify and describe the methods of control for the main health hazards that construction workers are exposed to
Identify appropriate personal protective and lifesaving equipment

Differentiate between the 5 classes of fires and how to extinguish them

10/40 HOUR SITE SAFETY TRAINING
This 10-hour course is intended to educate workers on how to avoid accidents and injuries while working on roofs, leading edges, ladders or scaffolds by defining the regulations and safety rules associated with fall hazards on construction sites. Participants will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to identify and avoid hazards associated with elevated work locations.

30/62 HOUR SITE SAFETY TRAINING
The purpose of the course is to initiate prospective candidates with safe job practices in New York City and to prepare those prospective candidates to take the Site Safety Manager’s test.

8 HOUR SITE SAFETY COORDINATOR
This course focuses on a comprehensive approach to the management of a construction site and discusses the NYC DOB Building Codes set forth in Chapter 33. The main objective of this course is to emphasize the importance of safety and protection of the public and workers on and around a jobsite.

SILICA AWARENESS
In this awareness-level safety course, you will learn about the basics of Silica and Respirable Crystalline Silica Dust encountered during construction activities.
Additionally, you will learn about contents of the new OSHA regulation concerning silica and respirable crystalline silica.

8 HOUR CONFINED SPACE ENTRY/ATTENDANT/SUPERVISOR TRAINING
This course is designed to educate students in the safe practices and responsibilities of the entrant, attendant, and supervisor when working in confined spaces. Key topics covered are OSHA standards, employer responsibility to individuals working in confined spaces, recognition of said spaces, requirements for entry, atmospheric/physical hazards, personal protective equipment, and regulatory requirements.

Fall Protection
OSHA, Insurance Companies, and Large General Contractors know the exposures created here, and focus their inspections, fines, and an attention to this area. We provide 4hr and 8hr courses that help workers see the importance of fall protection, the need to use it, how to use it properly, inspect it, and maintain it according to the OSHA regulations.
This three day course will provide the participants with an overview of state of the art technology for fall protection and current OSHA requirements, including the principles of fall protection, the components of fall arrest systems, the limitations of fall arrest equipment, and OSHA policies regarding fall protection. Course Objectives: Identify various types of fall protection and their components; Recognize fall hazards and identify abatement methods for fall hazards; Define the proper use of fall protection equipment and personal fall arrest systems;
With falls being the most common cause of work related injury or death according to the New York department of buildings there were 173 constructions accidents involving serious falls.

Distinguish between OSHA and the DOB regulations related to work heights
