This 10 hour course is designed to promote workplace safety and empower workers with the knowledge of workplace hazards and their rights.

FALL PROTECTION AWARENESS
This course covers topics such as the nature of fall hazards at the workplace, the correct procedures for erecting, maintaining, disassembling and inspecting fall protection systems. 10/40 HOUR SITE SAFETY TRAINING
This 10-hour course is intended to educate workers on how to avoid accidents and injuries while working on roofs, leading edges, ladders or scaffolds by defining the regulations and safety rules associated with fall hazards on construction sites. Participants will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to identify and avoid hazards associated with elevated work locations.

30/62 HOUR SITE SAFETY TRAINING
The purpose of the course is to initiate prospective candidates with safe job practices in New York City and to prepare those prospective candidates to take the Site Safety Manager’s test.

8 HOUR SITE SAFETY COORDINATOR
This course focuses on a comprehensive approach to the management of a construction site and discusses the NYC DOB Building Codes set forth in Chapter 33. The main objective of this course is to emphasize the importance of safety and protection of the public and workers on and around a jobsite.

SILICA AWARENESS
In this awareness-level safety course, you will learn about the basics of Silica and Respirable Crystalline Silica Dust encountered during construction activities.

16 HOUR RIGGING WORKER
During the training, students will be provided with an overview of OSHA and DOB policies, procedures, and ASME rigging standards with a special emphasis on recognition and prevention of hazardous conditions. Additional topics will include instructions on how to visually inspect rigging equipment, basic crane components, crane setup and methods of applying proper rigging hitches. Students will participate in hands-on exercises in which they will be responsible for presenting, installing and using various rigging applications.

32 HOUR RIGGING SUPERVISOR
During this 32-hour course, students will be provided with an overview of OSHA and DOB policies, procedures, and ASME rigging standards with a special emphasis on supervision and coordination of rigging crews and rigging equipment setup. Some topics will include instructions on how to visually inspect rigging equipment, crane setup, load weight and center of gravity calculations as well as methods of applying proper rigging hitches. Students will participate in hands-on exercises in which they will be responsible for presenting, installing and using various rigging applications.

16 HOUR SUSPENDED SCAFFOLD USER
During this 16-hour course, students will be provided with an overview of OSHA and DOB policies, procedures, and suspended scaffold standards with a special emphasis on recognition and prevention of hazardous conditions. Some topics will include instructions on how to visually inspect suspended scaffold equipment, basic scaffold components, and methods of assembling/disassembling them. Students will also participate in hands-on exercises in which they will be responsible for presenting, building, and using various scaffolding and rigging applications.

32 HOUR SUPPORTED SCAFFOLD INSTALLER/REMOVER
Instructors will demonstrate safe methods of installation, removal and modification of different types of supported scaffolds using OSHA regulations, DOB standards and good work practice as a guide. Some topics covered during the course will include major scaffold components, importance of proper pre-planning, worker training, and how to read scaffold design drawings. Throughout the course, students will also participate in hands on exercises in which they will build and dismantle supported scaffolds, apply various knots on the rope and demonstrate ability to apply basic rigging techniques.

4 HOUR SUPPORTED SCAFFOLD AND USER REFRESHER COURSE
This course explains the basic fundamentals of supported scaffold safety and introduces students to the nature of supported scaffold hazards.

4 HOUR FLAGGING TRAINING
During this course, students are introduced to State and Federal policies, procedures and standards. Training will consist of the safety principles covered in the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) with a special focus on recognizing and preventing hazard conditions. Topics covered include proper flagging technique and how to coordinate traffic through a work zone.

8 HOUR SUSPENDED SCAFFOLD SUPERVISOR REFRESHER
The purpose of this course is to help supervisors maintain adequate safety discipline on suspended scaffold projects in New York City. During this course, participants will review Federal and NYC DOB scaffold regulations, how to stay in compliance with the most current Suspended Scaffold standards, exchange their experiences and will discuss the most recent changes in the rigging industry..

8 HOUR CONFINED SPACE ENTRY/ATTENDANT/SUPERVISOR TRAINING
This course is designed to educate students in the safe practices and responsibilities of the entrant, attendant, and supervisor when working in confined spaces. Key topics covered are OSHA standards, employer responsibility to individuals working in confined spaces, recognition of said spaces, requirements for entry, atmospheric/physical hazards, personal protective equipment, and regulatory requirements.

Security/FDNY Training
8 HOUR PRE-ASSIGNMENT TRAINING
This is an 8 hour course required by New York State as the first step in obtaining a security guard registration card from the New York State Department of State. The course provides the student with a general overview of the duties and responsibilities of a security guard. Topics covered in this course include the role of the security guard, legal powers and limitations, emergency situations, communications and public relations, access control, and ethics and conduct. The passing of an examination is required for successful completion of this course.

16 HOUR ON THE JOB SECURITY TRAINING
This is a 16 hour course that must be completed within 90 days of employment as a security guard. The course provides the student with detailed information on the duties and responsibilities a security guard. Topics covered in this course include the role of the security guard, legal powers and limitations, emergency situations, communications and public relations, access control, ethics and conduct, incident command system, and terrorism. The passing of an examination is required for successful completion of this course.

FIRE GUARD TRAINING
This four hour course helps the student to review all of the areas of study they will need to know in order to successfully complete the Examination for the Certificate of Fitness for Fireguard. The course includes materials related to the responsibilities of a fireguard, understanding safety procedures, signage and fire suppression systems.

CPR/AED/FIRST AID PROGRAM
This training meets the standards set by the Red Cross and combines lecture, interactive video and hands-on training to teach students the skills they need to possibly one day save a life.

8 HOUR ANNUAL SECURITY TRAINING
This is an 8 hour course that must be completed within 12 calendar months from completion of the 16 Hour On-the-Job Training Course for Security Guards, and annually thereafter. The course is structured to provide the student with updated and enhanced information on the duties and responsibilities of a security guard. Topics include the role of the security guard, legal powers and limitations, emergency situations, communications and public relations, access control, and ethics and conduct.
